The seller had been through the usual Newcastle process before calling us: national online buyer quoted her a figure, asked her to drive to a branch in Byker for inspection; two local Newcastle independents had turned up, inspected, then dropped their offer. What actually happens at the driveway: we arrive when we said we would, we look at what the photos showed plus anything unphotographable (underside, door shuts, cold-start), we don't move the figure unless the car has surprised us in a way we can demonstrate.
