2010 Mitsubishi Shogun SWB Commercial - collected in Scottish Borders
Sometimes we buy a vehicle and run it ourselves before moving it on. This top-spec short-wheelbase Mitsubishi Shogun, a 3.2 diesel commercial, came from a seller in Scotland. We collected it from the Borders, used it as our trailer-towing workhorse for a while, then sold it on to a buyer in Carlisle.

Bought from Scotland, collected from the Borders
A seller up in Scotland got in touch wanting to sell their Shogun. We talked it through, made an offer they were happy with, and drove up to the Borders to collect it. We are based in the Tyne Valley but we will happily travel for the right vehicle, Scotland and the Borders included.
The Shogun
This was the short-wheelbase Shogun, the three-door, in commercial van form, so two seats up front and load space in the back. Do not let the van part fool you though, it was top spec, with heated leather and the proper creature comforts. A 3.2 diesel SWB Shogun is a genuinely capable thing, comfortable on the road and hard to stop off it.
Our own workhorse for a while
We liked this one enough to keep it and use it ourselves for a spell. It became our trailer-towing workhorse, which is about the best test a vehicle can get, and it never missed a beat. That is the honest version of saying we would have one ourselves, because for a while we did.
Sold to Carlisle, with a part exchange
When the time came it went to a buyer over in Carlisle. He had a Ford Fiesta to move on, so we took it in part exchange as part of the deal. We are set up to buy outright or to do a deal like that, whatever makes it easiest for the person we are dealing with.
