2009 Volkswagen Golf GTD 2.0 TDI DSG - collected in Allendale

This white 2009 Volkswagen Golf GTD belonged to a neighbour of ours in Allendale. Lowered on Bola alloys with a full bodykit, tartan sports seats and sat nav, it drove really well. A message on Facebook, a walk round the car, and we did a deal.

Not every car comes to us through the website. This one started with a message on Facebook from a neighbour of ours in Allendale, asking if we'd be interested in their Golf. We would. We walked round for a look, drove it, and did a deal there and then.

The diesel GTI, done properly

The GTD is the diesel take on the Golf GTI: same three-door body, same tartan sports seats, the 2.0 TDI engine and, on this one, the six-speed DSG automatic. It's a 59 plate with 128,000 miles on it and it drove really well, the DSG shifting cleanly and nothing to grumble about on the road. MOT through to April 2027.

The previous owner had put some thought into it. It sits lowered on a set of dark grey Bola alloys, with side skirts, a front splitter and a roof spoiler making up the bodykit, smoked rear lights, and the tartan seats inside in good order bar a little bolster wear on the driver's side. Sat nav in the dash. A really nice spec for a Golf of this age.
