Selling your Tesla in Hexham and the Tyne Valley
Tesla values move fast, sometimes weekly. We use live market data when valuing Teslas, not last quarter's book. Model 3 is the most common Tesla we see, then Model Y. Early Model S occasionally. Buyers care about battery health, software version, and any FSD or Enhanced Autopilot features included.
What we buy on the Tesla range
- Every model and trim - Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X
- Petrol, diesel, hybrid, electric - all powertrains
- Manual and automatic, low mileage or 200k+
- Failed MOT, warning lights, mechanical faults, non-runners
- Outstanding finance, missing V5, SORN cars - we handle the paperwork
How we value a Tesla
Model 3 trim variants (Standard Range Plus, Long Range, Performance) are very different cars and prices. Same on Model Y. Battery health (kWh to capacity ratio) directly affects value. We ask for a recent screenshot of the energy stats. Pre-2021 cars without heat-pump heating are weaker in winter and priced down accordingly.
Common Tesla condition issues we see
Tesla mechanical issues are minimal but build quality on early production runs (panel gaps, paint defects) was inconsistent. We check on inspection. Older Model S with low battery degradation are still good cars but tyre wear and suspension bushes go quickly.
Tesla demand and current market
Model 3 Long Range strong retail demand. Model Y growing fast. Model S older case-by-case. Model X slower retail. Performance variants always sell fast at premium.

How the process works
Enter your registration in the wizard above. We pull DVLA and MOT data automatically, add the mileage and a couple of condition details, and come back with a human-reviewed offer, usually same day. If you accept, we agree a collection slot, arrive, settle by instant bank transfer, take the V5C and photo ID, and notify DVLA before we leave.

The Tesla market in 2026: range version, Autopilot tier and battery health
Tesla values move fast, sometimes weekly, so we use live market data when valuing them rather than a quarterly book. Three things move the figure. First, the range version: a Standard Range or rear-wheel-drive car, a Long Range and a Performance are very different cars and prices. Second, the Autopilot tier: a car with Enhanced Autopilot or Full Self-Driving capability on the account carries real money over a basic Autopilot car, and that capability transfers with the car. Third, battery health: the usable-capacity ratio directly sets the value, so we ask for a recent screenshot of the energy stats. Pre-2021 cars without the heat pump are weaker in winter and priced accordingly. We value the actual car against live data.
Tesla Model 3
The Model 3 is the most common Tesla we see, across the rear-wheel-drive, Long Range and Performance variants. The Long Range has the strongest retail demand. Later rear-wheel-drive cars use the lithium-iron-phosphate battery that can be charged to 100 percent routinely, which buyers value, and the heat pump on the post-2020 cars helps winter range. We price the variant, the battery health and the Autopilot tier on the actual car.
Tesla Model Y
The Model Y is growing fast as the SUV-bodied version of the Model 3, and demand is strong. The same logic applies: range version, battery health, Autopilot tier and heat-pump-era all matter. Spec details like the tow bar, the wheel size and the interior all carry weight. A clean Model Y with healthy battery and Long Range drivetrain gets a strong figure.
Tesla Model S and Model X
The Model S saloon and the falcon-door Model X are valued case-by-case, and the older cars need care. The pre-2018 cars with the first-generation media control unit can suffer the well-known eMMC memory failure that shows as a yellowing or blank screen, and tyre and suspension wear go quickly on the heavier S and X. A healthy older Model S with low battery degradation is still a genuinely good car, and the Performance variants always sell fast. We price the actual condition and battery.
Battery health, software and what we check
On every Tesla the three things we want to see are the battery health, the software and Autopilot status, and the build quality. Early production runs had inconsistent panel gaps and paint that we check on inspection, none of which stops us buying. We do not guess any of this from a registration; we ask for the energy-stats screenshot and the software details and price the real car, which is exactly why an in-person appraisal beats an online form on a fast-moving EV.
How we work with Tesla sellers in Hexham
Send the registration, the mileage and a recent screenshot of the battery and energy stats, plus the Autopilot or Full Self-Driving status. We value against live market data, factor the range version and battery health honestly, and tell you what your Tesla is genuinely worth right now. A car that will not start or is off the road is no barrier; we collect on the transporter.
