How we value a Tesla
Model 3 trim variants (Standard Range Plus, Long Range, Performance) are very different cars and prices. Same on Model Y. Battery health (kWh to capacity ratio) directly affects value. We ask for a recent screenshot of the energy stats. Pre-2021 cars without heat-pump heating are weaker in winter and priced down accordingly.

Tesla mechanical issues are minimal but build quality on early production runs (panel gaps, paint defects) was inconsistent. We check on inspection. Older Model S with low battery degradation are still good cars but tyre wear and suspension bushes go quickly.
